sankham chakram jalaukam dadhad amrta ghatam charu dorbhis chaturbhih
suksma svachchhati hrdyamsuka pari vilasdan maulim ambhoja netram
kalambhodojjvalangam kati tata vilasach charu pitambaradhyam
vande dhanvantarim tam nikhila gada vana praudha davagni lilam

Holding the conch, Vishnu's discus, leech, and the vessel of the nectar of immortality in his four lovely arms. Whose heart radiates an exceedingly bright
and subtle blaze of light, and whose head and lotus eyes are surrounded by dazzling brilliance. Uplifted to the sky from upon the dark waters, his brilliant body with sloping waist is so pleasing in his abundant yellow cloth. Adorations to Lord Dhanvantari who destroys the thick and tangled forest of disease in
a massive conflagration by his mere play.
