Alice began her journey with Soul Line Dancing in May 2006. This unique dance form blends standard moves, like the Cha Cha and sailor steps, with creative innovations, all choreographed to the rhythms of R&B, contemporary, and urban music. From 2006 to 2012, I had the privilege of dancing on Soul Line Revue, a local affiliate TV show, and performing in numerous city-wide and state-wide showcases.
Line dancing has remained my enduring passion, and I actively participate in events across the tri-state area, surrounding suburbs, including New York, Virginia, Georgia, and South Carolina. As a retiree, I’ve embraced teaching Soul Line Dancing at the West Chester Area YMCA, sharing the joy of this dynamic art form with people of all ages.
Line dancing not only energizes the body but also strengthens the mind—it’s a fun way to keep our memory muscles sharp! Above all, dancing is my joy and my way to connect, create, and celebrate life.
