Paula Sam, Founder and Practitioner

Paula is a practitioner, and educator with over 30 years of experience in integrative healing arts. Her work reflects a deeply intuitive and highly skilled approach to supporting the body, mind, and spirit, shaped by decades of study across a wide range of therapeutic and spiritual modalities.

Her path began with foundational studies in reflexology, reiki, manual lymphatic drainage, and body-based therapies, and deepened through Applied Kinesiology and Applied QiGong Therapy under Master FaXiang Hou, a fifth-generation QiGong master. These early influences profoundly shaped her understanding of the body’s energetic systems and innate capacity for healing.

A lifelong practitioner of yoga, Paula began her studies at the age of 16 and was certified at 19 under Yogi Hari Sharana Zandler. She has studied extensively across multiple lineages, including Iyengar, Anusara, Kali Ray TriYoga, Saraswati River Yoga and Shadow Yoga. She previously served as a senior East Coast teacher trainer for Kali Ray TriYoga, mentoring and guiding students along their transformative paths. She is also certified in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and Stott Pilates.

Her work is deeply informed by Ayurveda, having studied with respected teachers including Dr. Shekhar Annambhotla, Vaidya R.K. Mishra, K.P. Khalsa, Maya Tiwari, Traci Webb and faculty of the Ayurvedic Living School. As an Ayurvedic Herbalist and Lifestyle Coach, Paula integrates herbal medicine, nutrition, daily ritual, and lifestyle practices to support long-term balance and vitality.

Paula has trained extensively in advanced therapeutic modalities including Craniosacral Therapy, Paul St. John Neuromuscular Therapy, Auricular Medicine, Esogetic Colorpuncture, Fascia Therapy, and Quantum Biofeedback. Her trauma-informed approach also includes Tension & Trauma Release Exercises (TRE). As a trainer in pelvic floor fascia therapy, she teaches practitioners to integrate anatomy-informed, somatic, and trauma-aware approaches into their work, emphasizing the interconnectedness of structure, nervous system regulation, and emotional well-being.

She is the founder of Rooted Resonance Healing, a pioneering exploration of plant consciousness and vibrational medicine. Through this work, Paula bridges the intelligence of the natural world with human healing, attuning to subtle frequencies and supporting clients in restoring harmony within the body, mind, and energetic field.

Paula’s path is also deeply rooted in spiritual practice and lineage. She was initiated into the Tantric Bhairavi path under the guidance of Maa Parvathi Nandanath Saraswati and continues her studies in Sri Vidya Sadhana with Sri Guru Karunamaya, integrating sacred Vedic wisdom into her healing work.

In addition, she walks the Andean Paqo path, studying within the lineage of the Q’ero Nation and honoring the Apaza family lineage, keepers of the Chumpi Paqo tradition. This path is rooted in Ayni, sacred reciprocity with the Earth, the Apus (mountain spirits), and the greater Cosmic Order.

Paula has received the Chakaruna Karpay initiation through Paqo Altomisayoq Doña María Apaza, along with transmissions including the Qoto Pleiades Healing Technique, the Seven Ñustas rites, and the blessings of Mama Q’oto. She has studied with Altomisayoq Túpaq Ttito Kuntur, a direct descendant of the Inka and lineage holder of the Andean-Inkan Holy Mountain Tradition.

She is currently in training as a Ñusta Paqo, walking the path of the medicine woman and deepening her relationship with ancestral wisdom, cosmic alignment, and energetic healing.

Paula’s work is a living integration of science, tradition, and intuitive wisdom. She supports individuals navigating complex health conditions, chronic pain, and deep transformational processes, offering a space for restoration, resilience, and reconnection.

She is deeply grateful to the many teachers, lineages, and traditions that continue to guide her path.
