
Metabolic Yoga for Strength, Balance, and Bone Support
This class is designed to support individuals navigating metabolic challenges as well as those with osteoporosis, osteopenia, or concerns about bone strength, stability, and healthy movement. Guided by Paula’s therapeutic approach, the practice weaves together the wisdom of Ayurveda with accessible asana, mindful vinyasa-based movement, pranayama, mantra, and meditation. The intention is to create a nurturing space where students can support their metabolic well-being while safely building strength, balance, and confidence in the body.
Each session encourages healthy metabolic function by gently stimulating circulation, reducing tension and inflammation, and promoting relaxation of the nervous system. Movements are thoughtfully modified so all levels can participate comfortably, while still supporting steady calorie burn, strength-building patterns, improved mobility, and mindful energy management. Students with low bone density are offered clear guidance and safe alternatives to avoid contraindicated movements, ensuring the practice protects joints, supports bone health, and maintains proper alignment.
Throughout the class, Paula offers compassionate, individualized adjustments to honor each student’s comfort, mobility, and physical needs. This is a supportive environment where you can explore movement at your own pace, reconnect with your breath, and cultivate a deeper sense of ease, stability, and inner awareness.
